January 21, 2001 - NBC Grabs Nikita. Here is the latest and greatest in news from a Los Angeles reporter.

"The peacock is in advanced negotiations with Warner Bros. TV for a significant put pilot commitment for a drama series to star Wilson, the resourceful heroine of USA Network's cult favorite action-drama "La Femme Nikita." Feature writer Sally Robinson ("Medicine Man") is attached as executive producer.

Warner Bros. and NBC declined to comment on the project Wednesday. The project is based on the work of Sheila Balkan, a Santa Monica-based criminologist and private investigator who has done extensive studies on crime and human behavior.

Wilson has been in demand for film and TV work after emerging as a rising star during the four-year run of "La Femme Nikita." USA canceled the series this year, but the network did an about-face in August and ordered eight additional episodes of the show after an intense lobbying effort by "Nikita's" loyal followers.

January 10, 2001 - Now that Season 5 is underway, why was Season 4 not the end of the series as many had thought. Well it was because of many Peta Wilson, and Nikita fans that kept the show going. CNN.com has put up an article telling all. I have also added the article to the articles section.

January 8, 2001 - More photos are in the works, in related news though, it looks as though Peta Wilson may be the star of the upcoming blockbuster Terminator 3. This would mark Peta's first appearance in a big budget film. Here are more details.....

"For the past few weeks, there have been several rumors as to who will play the female villain in "T3", set to begin shooting this spring. There have been lots of rumors to suggest names like Chyna, Famke Janssen, and even Natasha Henstridge. But if this report is correct, Arnold Schwarzenegger himself has said that Peta Wilson (TV's "La Femme Nikita") might be the front-runner.

A scooper sends in an e-mail claiming that on a radio talk show, Arnold Schwarzengger stated: "We are looking for an actress who could play the same kind of villain that Robert [Patrick (T-1000 in 'T2'] and I played. Peta Wilson of Nikita is a strong candidate but we haven't chosen anyone yet."

Of course, there is still plenty of time so it is most likely that a female lead stil has not been cast yet. Just another interesting name to add to the list."
